In 2024 Brandon Consultants achieved B Corp status. 12 months on, we're now able to share insights, highlights and learnings from year one in our first Impact Report.
From creating a Brandon B Corp Charter and implementing a new Learning & Development plan, to adopting a 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' approach in our studios, and even winning our first award in Sustainable Design, we have continued to build on that initial foundation.
Being B Corp certified hasn't stopped us asking ourselves “How can we do better?” We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we know there’s a lot more to come.
Here are a few words from our Co-Founders Abi and Richard on what being a B Corp business means to us today, and for the future:
"When we first began this journey, someone said, "B Corp is a journey, not a destination". That’s certainly proven true. It feels like we’ve packed our bags and truly set out on a path of continuous improvement. Sure, there have been a few rest stops along the way, but now it’s time to buckle up and focus on the next leg.
For me, B Corp is about making the world a more beautiful place and in doing so, we’ve unintentionally made our business more beautiful too. It has elevated us as individuals, raised the bar for how we operate as an agency, and inspired us to strive for better every day.
We’re building a better Brandon one (sustainable) brick at a time, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the ‘B’ word far and wide."
- Abi Taylor, Co-Founder & Creative Director, Brandon Consultants
"B Corp has put us on a path of continuously evolving, questioning all that we can do, and setting the foundations for the marginal gains that we can improve upon each day. Collectively, the power of these small changes has helped us to build a better Brandon.
We are, however, only just getting started. B Corp keeps us honest and helps shape all that we do to build a better business, support our people, and look to reduce the damage to our planet. Profit is key but, critically, doing the right thing doesn’t have to come at a cost. Learning that has been enlightening. We're looking forward to seeing what we can collectively achieve in our second year."
