We’re Hiring - Group Account Director

We’re looking for an experienced Group Account Director with the expertise to execute strategic brand design that delivers effective results and drives commercial growth.

Group Account Director (Full Time)

Location

Altrincham, Manchester (Hybrid Working)

Ideally 2 days per week in the studio

You will be a people person to the core, able to build and maintain strong client partnerships that deliver profitable growth.

You’ll have an entrepreneurial spirit and a natural hunger for hunting out new opportunities, together with a proven track record in growing clients and pushing the business forward.

Outstanding communication skills are a must.  You will need to be equally confident briefing and leading the team in evaluating creative work, as you are in the boardroom delivering impactful presentations, leading clients and managing financial negotiations.

You will have proven experience of working with multi-national FMGC brand businesses, building close relationships, and influencing decision makers at C Level.

You are a strategic thinker and proactive problem solver, consistently leveraging the understanding of your client’s business, the challenges they face and the environment that they work in, to seek out and generate new business opportunities.

Your project management and budget management skills will be second to none, able to juggle numerous projects at a time, whilst ensuring the team stay on brief and deliver on time and on budget.

You will possess strong commercial acumen, able to formulate and communicate client development plans that drive growth. You will be able to forecast turnover and gross profit effectively across your clients.

To be successful you’ll need to have:

  • Qualification to degree level with expertise in marketing or design
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with a leading brand, design or creative business
  • A background in Strategic Brand positioning and/or packaging ideally in world of FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A proven track record of building profitable client relationships with demonstrable commercial growth
  • Solid communication skills to lead your team through evaluating creative work and drive best in class design on budget and on time
