We're hiring - Senior Strategist

We’re looking for a Senior Strategist to help us push the boundaries with our strategic and creative process. Primarily responsible for the delivery of brand and FMCG projects across brand positioning, brand design and innovation.

Senior Strategist (Full Time)

Location

Altrincham, Manchester (Hybrid Working) - 2 Days Per Week in the Studio

Why you?

You will support existing client growth, jointly identifying and securing new opportunities to expand our influence and revenue. You set the future direction of brands, finding innovative ways to solve problems and create new opportunities.

You will be the lead strategic brand thinker on a project either client or business development focused – usually more than one at a same time – responsible for defining and articulating the key strategic elements, holding the strategic thread, inspiring both the creative team as well as our clients.

You’ll be a deep thinker with a natural consumer curiosity, and a hunger for marketing and insight both strategically and across relevant and emerging channels. You will be interested and tuned in to the world at large in terms of society, trends, culture and technology. Experience of developing social strategies for clients would be an added bonus!

You will proactively come up with new ideas to help transform our client’s businesses by empowering their brand opportunities and delivering these based on clear insight and impact objectives.

You will have a flair for writing creative content and be able to present your ideas eloquently, with clarity and ingenuity.

Strong communication skills are a given, you will need to have the ability to engage clients and our creative team with energy and enthusiasm whilst also being empathetic to their needs.

Ultimately, we’re a team of doers, so are looking for someone that isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and support their peers.

The ability and resilience to cope under pressure (and have some fun along the way) is a pre-requisite for life in our fast-moving agency.

To be successful you’ll need to have:

  • Qualification to degree level
  • 6-10 years working in an agency environment
  • Proven track record/experience in brand positioning/strategy and planning ideally with an FMCG focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
